Trip in the Center Head. Space Art was a French electronic duo consisting of Dominique Perrier on keyboards and late French drummer Roger Rizzitelli. They released three albums between 1977 and 1981. Their music is often described as cosmic synth pop. The duo are considered pioneers of the French electronic genre. In 1981, they opened for Jean-Michel Jarre at his China Tour Perrier later played keyboards on most Jarre albums. A tribute record was released in 2012 by Perrier and his new band, remaking some Space Art tracks. Trip In The Center Head: Spalax 1997. Space Art Onyx: Prod 2009. New album

This album is crazy good. It's like flying through Outer Space with the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls, exploring planets made out of gold, lobster planets, maybe even a bizarre planet of mirrors where Scottie Pippen has a breakdown after seeing his true self and goes vill for a minute, but then realizes why he got in the game in the first place: because he loves it. Every track is hot. It opens a little like "okkkkk" but by the second jam you'll be like "OK!" and then by the end of the first side, you won't even know if you're OK anymore because you're questioning everything you've known. Good news Chicago: Side 2 is BETTER. P.S. For those wondering, Yes, there is a Jarre connection, but relax about Jarre. He's cool but just relax. He's not the end all be all, he's like just a point of entry into this wonderful scene. Let go.4/5 Truly Art

Couldn't agree more!! FANTASTIC REVIEW of a FANTASTIC RECORD!! Nice one man :D :D :D
This is the best review of an album I've read on Discogs.
Wow...just...wow!This album is one of the most amazing records in my collection. Words really cannot describe the genre of this. You really have to listen to this album yourself to get the idea so its worth playing those videos at the side. It's kind of like a more electronic version of Pink Floyd. I have no idea why Space Art remained so obscure because they are probably just as good as any other 70's electronic artists such as Jean Michel Jarre, Vangellis and Kraftwerk. This is definitely a must have!
I agree with Jarre, and especially Vangelis; but Kraftwerk were never that great, being vastly inferior to their amazing contemporaries Tangerine Dream. I don't think this Space Art album is a patch on their debut, but it's growing on me.
